About Me
My name is Rob and this is my personal website. This is my small presence on the vast Internet.
I work in the IT industry, and am interested in photography, genealogy and motorbikes.
Just to clear up any confusion. It would appear that I'm not the only Rob Edgeler on the internet. There is at least another in Plymouth.

The Family Tree and Resources are also restricted.

Genealogy
This site plays host to a group of us interested in genealogy. We are currently researching the Edgeler family tree, and each of our respective ancestors. We share a single on-line tree that makes it easier to keep synchronised, and manage change. With such a group we can help each other and pool our resources and work more effectively towards a common goal.
On the tree we currently we have over 2300 individuals, of which over 540 are Edgelers, and with over 550 other surnames.
We have 3 major branches the first of which is the main branch on which most people are connected:
- The first originates in Surrey spreading to Hampshire, Sussex, Devon, Cornwall, London, Kent and Essex.
- The second originates Surrey (but not yet connected to the first branch), which spreads to New Zealand, and USA.
- The third originates in Kent (Northfleet) which spreads to Canada, Essex and London.
We have also begun to expand our search to the Edgeller surname as there might be a link.
The most common names we have in our tree are Canning, Dobson, Edgeler, Edgeller, Partenheimer, Payne, Peckham, Peters, Thompson, Webster, White.
